I’ve been thinking about blogging for a while and today I pulled the trigger. I’ve wrestled with it – do I have anything worth saying, will anyone read it, does it matter if they do?
Dunno, I think so.
Nope, it doesn’t.
Who am I? I’m a guy getting close to AARP age who’s realized there is more to life than making money and existing. I’m not large in stature and I can be a bit spastic, my lady calls me her hobbit and since I couldn’t think of a catchy tagline that would encompass what I would be putting here, it seemed to fit for me. I work in technology, but my interests are not limited to bits and bytes. I live in the middle of no where and love it, I work from home and it fits my lifestyle nicely. We’ve adopted a minimalist lifestyle, cleaner eating, more socially conscious way of thinking.
Ok, so when it comes to my recipes, please forgive the pictures. I thought about doing them all fancy and professional, but decided against it. Why?
BECAUSE I HATE WHEN I MAKE SOMETHING AND IT DOESN’T LOOK LIKE THE PICS I SEE ON PINTEREST!!! Damnit, that is so disheartening!! So, my posts I like to think are more realistic. I’m a real guy, in a real (small btw) kitchen, making real food. Period.
So, what will I talk about? Good question. As I continue on this part of minimalism, more healthy lifestyle, and self-awareness, I will sharing my discoveries and thoughts (duh, pretty much all bloggers do that, right?). The better question would be what type of discoveries, thoughts and ramblings? Food. Shit, I love food but it doesn’t love me, or maybe it does because it sticks around my waist for so long? Animals. I’m a animal person – dogs, wildlife, domestic livestock. Political ideas. Cars. Trucks. What I think a ‘real’ man should be and do. Pretty much, I’m just going to drop you inside my head and let it fly.
I’m sorry ahead of time:)
